A Mid-century modern Broyhill Brasilia Dining Suite USA c.1960s. This fabulous dining set is made by the well renowned Broyhill factory in North Carolina, USA. Broyhill is one of the best-known furniture brands in the States and in our opinion is like the G Plan of America. It is ironic that the Brasilia line featured here was also a name used for a range from G Plan, we wonder which came first?
Included in this vintage dining set is a Walnut veneer extending dining table that has a wonderful atomic style leg feature and 3 extending leaves. This brings the table from a cosy 4 seater circular to a comfortable 6 or 8 seater when fully extended.
Also included is a set of 6 Brasilia dining chairs with a very nice teal upholstery. There is 2 carver or captains chairs with arms and 4 side chairs.
The whole set is in good vintage condition and the walnut grain is clear and pronounced.
We have faithfully restored this mid-century dining set and we are sure it has many more good years in it to be used and enjoyed as Broyhill furniture was designed to be.
